Second Workshop in Germany

OFFIS invited us to come together at their facility in Oldenburg, Germany on the 20-21th May 2025.In a spacious and open creativity sparking lab environment we had the chance to have parallel sessions fostering the fruitful discussions and exchange of ideas within the technological work packages.As the DAISY project evolved into promising innovation for the participating end users, we introducing 4 key innovation areas for further development;
  1. Language Models
  2. Mobiele Apps
  3. Clinical Partners
  4. Quantitative Modell
  After a successful first day of work packages progress, we split up in these 4 areas with the following participation groups:
  1. Materna, MedRecord, Philips, Semlab, Vestel/Hayriya
  2. OFFIS, 5M Software, ASCORA GmbH, BEE Medic GmbH
  3. NP Brain Hospital, GGZ OostBrabant, University Hospital Bonn
  4. AMC Amsterdam, ARD Group, TU Eindhoven, OFFIS, BEE Medic GmbH, Bewl, Etiya.
  It was very encouraging to see the potential and first promising results regarding the improving diagnosis and care of mental diseases of multiple different approaches to this very challenging task of dealing with multimodal neurofeedback, virtual therapy assistant, major depressive disorder prediction, assessment time reduction on eating disorder and distinguish between unipolar and bipolar depression. After the in-depth technology area discussions, we gathered in the plenary meeting room to discuss first our current value KPI’s and how to move forward to the target values.We all concluded that we are on track with the KPIs from all use cases. We will adjust some values more precisely in order to provide the best exploitation opportunity for our project and participating end users. OFFIS invites us to a tour in their medical facility labs, where they are working on the future of healthcare, having in mind all challenges all European healthcare providers deal with: affordable, safe care while improving quality of life for all citizens.
